Learning to Grow Passive Income Later in Life, One Seed a Day…

Seed A Day is a personal experiment in building stability through small, consistent entrepreneurial actions. Each “seed” is something I try to grow. A blog post, a digital product, an idea for passive income. Some seeds will flourish. Some will produce very little. Some will not grow at all.

And some days, the weather may be very bad.

On days when I am too tired or life gets heavy, I will give myself grace and return when I can. This is not about perfection. It is about planting something when possible and trusting that consistency over time creates a garden.

Seed A Day is not about getting rich.
It is about getting stable.
Because boy…. I need it!

What This Website / Experiment Is Not

It may be easier to say what I, myself, am not:

I am not a get rich quick guru, a hustle culture cheerleader, or someone selling unrealistic promises. I am not chasing viral moments, overnight success, or the pressure to monetize every second of my life.

I am also not about burnout. I have been there. I am still there, but trying to unlearn that. That is the point of this experiment.

Let’s be real. Would I like to be one of those beautiful young people who film themselves 24/7, jump out of bed with their hair miraculously done, pull out a smoothie machine to make the perfect nutrient rich drink, and then hop into a brand new $200,000 car to meet up with my bestie? Sure. Maybe. For a day.

What I am building is quiet, intentional, and sustainable. One small step at a time.

I missed the boat on building retirement the traditional way, and I am close, but still far away from that day. Now I am doing it my way. Slowly. Thoughtfully. Honestly.

If that makes me part of a generation figuring it out later than planned, for whatever reason put us in this position, so be it. Someone has to go first. Maybe I am not the first after all. Maybe there are a few who came before me, quietly building another path forward for Generation X that does not involve burning ourselves down to the ground. If I can find them, I would like to join them and help the community garden grow.

That is what Seed A Day is about.

I Am Not Starting Over. I Am Continuing.
